I am your general dentist here at All About Smiles. I am a Pacific Northwest native, having grown up in Spokane, Washington. I attended the University of Washington and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry before heading across the country to attend dental school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. After graduating, I completed a one-year internship in oral surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and stayed in the city to join a private practice. Despite the opportunities I had in Chicago, I decided to return to my West Coast roots and made the move to McMinnville, Oregon, with my husband, Eric, and our two dogs, Zuri (a Rhodesian ridgeback) and Huxley (a yellow lab). Now I’m excited to say that I’ve stepped into the role of small business owner in addition to being a dentist. Moving to Oregon not only introduced a new step in my professional life but has opened up more opportunities to spend time partaking in some of my favorite hobbies like skiing, hiking, cycling, traveling and, of course, enjoying delicious Oregon wine. My husband and I had our first little boy in April 2018, and our second in July 2020. Since then, we've been lucky enough to welcome Akina, our lovely Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Agave, a charming Chinese Red dog, into our family.
Deanna joined All About Smiles back in 2017. She’s dabbled in being a hair stylist and a banker, but she truly found her passion in dentistry alongside her hygienist sister, Dana. Keeping this team of ours organised can be quite the handful, but she takes it all in her stride with a smile. Always ready to lend a helping hand, you might find her anywhere in the practice — whether she’s sitting beside Dr. Golly assisting, taking x-rays, changing a lightbulb, or even fixing computers.
A lively Rhodesian Ridgeback full of energy! She loves going for runs with Dr. Golly and playing with her big brother, Agave. You’ll often see her at the office, either trailing after Angie hoping for a treat, happily greeting everyone who walks through the door at the front desk, or catching up on some well-deserved rest in the break room.
A Chinese Red Dog, he's actually one of only a few of his kind in the United States. He's a bit of a shy chap and often looks to his little sister for a bit of reassurance before meeting new faces. He loves holding hands with Dr. Golly and gleefully opening and closing doors. You’ll often find him hiding under Dr. Golly’s desk, keeping a watchful eye on everything.
Dana first joined All About Smiles back in 2006 with Dr. Oliver. She started out as a dental assistant, but in 2013 she decided to go back to school to become a Dental Hygienist. She graduated as a Restorative Hygienist and takes her restorative work very seriously. Dana is always eager to learn new techniques and tips to keep improving her skills. She genuinely loves what she does, and it really shows — her restorations are consistently excellent. So, if Dr. Golly mentions you might need a filling, don’t worry, you’re in great hands — Dana will have you sorted in no time!
Meet our world-famous singing hygienist! Angie went to dental assisting and hygiene school alongside Dana, and she also graduated with special skills in restorative work. But her real passion is Dental Hygiene. With her keen eye for detail, she ensures every patient in her chair receives a thorough clean, all while making sure they feel relaxed and have a good laugh! Angie often has a couple of eager shadows, Akina and Agave, tagging along with her around the clinic. Her love for animals of all kinds is truly infectious, and you can see it in her between appointments with the office dogs—they definitely know exactly who to go to for treats!
With a wealth of experience in banking, it’s no surprise that Martha is such a natural as our Financial Coordinator! Back in 2021, when Dr Golly asked Deanna if she knew anyone she’d like to bring along to join the team, Martha was the very first and only person that came to mind. She became part of the family at the beginning of 2022. Martha’s always up for trying new things and going the extra mile — she can switch from discussing a treatment plan to helping Dana with her restorative without missing a beat.
Abbey might be the newest member of our team, but it honestly feels like she's been with us forever. Hailing from Australia, she made her way over to the States as a young adult and joined us in 2025. She’s the warm smile you see first when you step into the office and the friendly voice you hear when you give us a call. Always eager to learn and improve, Abbey is constantly honing her skills. She keeps our schedule running smoothly, like clockwork.
Maggie, Dr. Golly’s trusted right hand, joined All About Smiles in early 2025. She’s spent much of her time working in oral surgery practices that specialise in major procedures, including implant fixed dentures. She keeps everything running seamlessly in our office and does so with such grace and a lovely big smile! Maggie’s got quite possibly the most challenging job in the team, keeping Dr. Golly on track, but she always handles it with warmth and professionalism. She’s genuinely dedicated to making sure every patient feels relaxed and welcome, always happy to answer questions and take the time to explain procedures clearly to ease any worries.
